Cristian Varela’s Black Code Experiments was founded in 2003, a platform functional to release his own 12″ records; later in 2018 the label project sees a new light, hosting a series of digital releases. ‘Resonance’ made by Audioklinik is the next EP to be published, we can listen to an outstanding original that also gets revisited by Techflex and Marcel Warren. Starting from the title track, it’s literally raw energy since the first seconds of playback, nothing else is needed on this production, which can be used also as a dj-tool. Techflex offers two interpretations of the main theme, warranting a concentrate of coolness: the first remix unveils another face of the original, demonstrating alternative ways to use the synths, while the dub mix rediscovers and minimistically rearranges the main parts. Marcel Warren closes the release with his version, which adds some hardgroove inspired elements on the whole flow.
