Pierre Codarin returns to his eponymous imprint as he delivers the long-awaited eighth instalment on his vinyl-focused imprint.

With forthcoming material in 2022 via Titonton’s Residual, Dungeon Meat and Spaghetti Club, UK-based DJ, producer, and label boss Pierre Codarin continues to establish himself as a much-loved artist on the rise. After a brief hiatus following a huge 7th instalment on the label, Codarin now returns to his self-titled imprint to open 2022 back on home turf as he drops four fresh cuts for its eighth release and showcases his tough yet groove-laden take on house music.

‘609 Palm Canyon’ opens the EP with a well-worked blend of punchy kicks guide supple bass licks, hazy melodies and sweeping electronics to showcase a playful yet powerful offering, while ‘Breaks and Cakes’ emerges with authority as a snarling core bassline takes hold accented by warped, tripped out vocal samples to unveil a killer main room cut. On the flip, ‘Who’s Got The Z?’ harnesses slinking grooves beneath organic percussion and rich melodies, before closing the show via the floaty synths, crisp drums and snaking low ends of ‘Lady’s That Like’
