“I’ve been DJing in clubs for close to a decade and making music for even longer. Since finishing my doctorate at the start of the year, I’ve finally had the time to finish new music. This EP features three club-ready tracks and marks the second release as ‘Hommel’. Both “Like This Or This” and “Volt” were made in part using a Buchla modular system, accompanied by shuffling breakbeat samples. “Spanish” is fit for the warehouse, leaning on a rumbling bass drum accompanied by driving percussion.” – Hommel
