Fleur Shore returns to The Martinez Brothers’ Cuttin’ Headz imprint with a trio of slick house cuts across her brand new EP, ‘Whensday’.

As breakthrough years go, Fleur Shore’s 2022 was up there with the best. Nominated for ‘Best Breakthrough DJ’ at DJ Mag’s Best Of British while being named as one of Radio 1’s Future Stars of 2023, the rising talent has taken the early praise and acclaim in her stride as she looks to elevate her sound further. Releases on labels such as Boogeyman and MicroHertz have housed a wealth of material spanning the house genre, while recent tours as far as Brazil have landed ahead of her debut US tour in July. Arriving hot on the heels of her recent Mixmag Lab and sets at fabric, OFF Week and back in Ibiza for Paradise’s 2023 opening party, she makes a long-awaited return to The Martinez Brothers’ Cuttin’ Headz imprint with three bustling productions across her ‘Whensday’ EP.

Bringing together a blend of slinking drum grooves and wonky, off-kilter synths beneath hooky hip-hop vocals, title cut ‘Whensday’ is a track loaded with energy and a production built for getting packed dancefloors moving. Next, ‘Don’t Tell Me What To Do’ is a soulful slice of house, with resonant brass leads met by warped and sweeping leads, all supported by the track’s crisp, rolling percussion, before the bubbling ‘Sumthing’ closes the show with an assault of acid-led grooves and icy hats.
