Jonathan Kaspar returns on Crosstown Rebels with a solo release: ‘We Come EP’. Compared with his last originals and remixes (you can quickly check all them on the Beatport’s artist profile) the overall composition sounds more relaxed and thoughtful. ‘We Come’ opens the tracklist, since the beginning it follows a calm stylistic trail: just the main synth adds energy and fluidity to the theme. Supported by a low crescendo of pads, synths, effects and tribal shakers, ‘Flash Point’ reveals a unique identity, becoming immediately the best production of the EP. In this track the artist expresses himself without any boundaries, while playing and jamming with the instruments he elevates the importance of discovering new styles and combinations. ‘Transposed’ closes the EP, basically it’s a tribal inspired production which features the vocal of the Berlin based vocalist and producer Paul Brenning.
