Introducing Always Sunny. Not just a party, not just a wellness group, Always Sunny combines both to create a community within the electronic music space that fosters and champions human connection and wellbeing. Through a mix of accessible music and wellness events, Always Sunny’s intention is to create a more sustainable framework and ecosystem for the scene where we feel more enlightened, nurtured, and connected to one another. But, it’s not being stuck to sober raving, or tough wellness routines – this is about balance, and music is always at the heart.

After a successful first rave and a series of online wellness events, AS can announce the next phase of activity – a party on June 4th featuring sunboi, Goh Well and Ella B, plus a 6 week wellbeing agenda including a partnership with Stretch yoga studio. Anyone ticket holders for the main party get FREE access to events including yoga classes at Stretch, and Sound Healing sessions. That means buying one club ticket and then having access to 12+ wellness events. Tickets are available from £8 – £12.50 available here, full details of wellness events below.

THE ALWAYS SUNNY AIMS : Why?
EDUCATION : Teaching and positively learning together about wellness, good routines and balance, but with music and club culture always being at the heart of the AS community.

BALANCE : Create an intersection at the middle ground for party people – we don’t need to be sober to be mindful of our health, and you don’t need to be a raging raver to party. Most of our habits sit somewhere in the middle.

ACCESS : Provide access to high quality wellness activities – starting with yoga and sound meditation, the programme will develop adding into meditation, fitness and more. All for a cheap / free price point.

COMMUNITY : Extend those smoking area chats or dancefloor exchanges to communities that extend outside the club. AS will create spaces where the community can exchange post / pre raves, and provide an aftercare service.

I have been working in the music industry for over 8 years and throughout that time have faced some big hurdles regarding my relationship with partying and my own sense of wellbeing. Sometimes I was feeling off the rails, other times I denied myself experiences just so I could stay sober and feel healthy. I struggled to sustain a middle ground, moving from one end of the scale to the other. I felt that a community needed to be created in dance music where a different narrative is held. A narrative that cultivates balance and gives space for people to re-explore their relationship with themselves and partying. ALWAYS SUNNY RAVE –
Always Sunny invite you to join their next party on June 4th featuring sunboi, Goh Well and Ella B, taking place at Low Profile Studios. This rave will be an important party to build community with 100% good vibes and big dancefloor grooves – garage, house, electro and much more, and all are welcome.  Tickets start at just £8, and then enable access to the full wellness side.

-ALWAYS SUNNY WELLNESS PROGRAMME : PHASE ONE –
The first rollout of the wellness program includes 6 free classes at Stretch Yoga, taking place each Tuesday night from the end of April until June. Stretch’s East London studios have become inclusive spaces for yoga, aiming to make people feel good via movement and providing accessible classes. Also as part of the initial offering will be sound meditation sessions, to clear minds through sounds and sensation.

Germany based producers Marc Brauner and Tender Games faced each others for the creation of ‘Concrete Jungle EP’, and the final result don’t disappoint: this release is sunny, vibrant and colorful. The strenght points of the EP are the sonic palette, the haunting vocals and the heavenly melodicism, elements that mostly come up during the playback of ‘It Makes Me’ and ‘Listen’.

Master Chef Music’s Brian Johnson joins Andrew Robinson and Mike Martins as Organic Life for ‘Love On The Run’, backed with remixes from Jonathan Rosa and Robinson himself.

Following the Fred P, Curses, Nicolas Masseyeff and Kassian supported ‘That Culture’ LP, Toronto-born sound engineer Brian Johnson is back as he links up with childhood friends Andrew Robinson and Mike Martins to form Organic Life. The trio drop their vibrant new single ‘Love On The Run’ featuring the vocals of Jazz singer-songwriter Melissa Lauren, while welcoming Get Physical’s Jonathan Rosa to remix the production.

Lead track ‘Love On the Run’ is a sun-kissed voyage awash with swung basslines, dreamlike pads, rhythmic drums and the enticing vocals of Melissa Lauren, before Jonathan Rosa serves up a dubbed-out rework harnessing lengthy pads and hypnotic echoes.

Balearic percussion, groovy synths and jazzy motifs work together in Andrew Robinson’s uplifting reshape, ahead of the harmonious ‘I Lied’ combining driving low-ends, rattling snares, graceful keys and stirring lyrics. René Pawlowitz (Shed, Head High, WK7) is set to release on his own Power House another track collection under the title ‘HOME. HOUSE. HARDCORE. 2’. The first one was published in 2015, so in this span of 7 years the German producer has collected all these productions, inspired by a typical warehouse techno background. The drum arrangements interface and sometimes fight with the synth or bassline patterns, involving all the parts into a catchy and organic composition.
