After getting released on relevant imprints such as Innervisions, Diynamic, COD3QR and Drumpoet, the dj and producer Tal Fussman debuts on Rekids with ‘Definition EP’. This interesting four tracker is totally inspired by house and techno music with Detroit influences. In all the productions the drum loops are stripped to the essentials, which recall to the usage of basic drum machine sounds and patterns; anyway synth melodies and chords talk with the instrumentals, a communication which is eased by the usage of vocal samples.

Mairee meets a newcomer producer called Jezza for the creation of ‘Deep Inside’. That’s the second appearance of Mairee on Hysteria (fyi the Bingo Player’s label): the first time was in March 2023 with the single ‘Sweet Chili Hot’, featuring the voice of Tania Foster. Anyway, this brand new track totally reflects the modern style followed by the artists, which spans into the future house / mainstage genre.
JKS returns to his Smile Sessions label collaborating with Bailey Ibbs. Both the artists are emerging in the techno panorama, showing off a fresh and catchy style. ‘Shake EP’ opens with the JKS’ solo track, which is titled ‘It’s A Vibe’: the production is built with a clean sounding instrumental, an important feature that adds vitality and endurance to the whole sound. Next to that all the other tracks made with four hands; ‘Tempo’ reveals a solid vibe, once again the sound detail is high and fulfilling. On the B side ‘Shake’ and ‘Rituals’ call for appreciation too. These jams have an easygoing nature and don’t blast the listener during the playback, anyway them keep going the groove and recall a particular party sensation.
Sabo’s record label, Sol Selectas welcomes a dynamic release from Memo Rex which ranges from dramatic Afro house to sensual organic house.
Memo Rex is an American artist from San Diego in California, and he is a Sol Selectas regular who has featured on four of the record label’s compilation releases. This is his first solo Sol Selectas EP, and it features four original tracks, one of which is a collaboration with PALOMA. who’s known for her music on Lee Burridge’s TRYBESof.
Alongside his music on Sol Selectas, Memo Rex has featured on other imprints such as Music Is 4 Lovers, Desert Hearts, Superfreq and SNOE. This release combines powerful drum rhythms with organic atmospherics and enchanting melodies, to create tracks that transport the listener to exotic locations.
“Vulcan” has tense atmospherics layered over jackin’ drum rhythms that give the track a stomping groove with tribal influences. Latin vocals and trippy melodies create a hallucinatory vibe underpinned by a swelling bass synth.
“Muladhara” is a track made in collaboration with PALOMA. and it combines jungle sounds with heavy percussion. The chirping birds combine with vocal chants to give this track the feeling of a joyous aboriginal ceremony.
“Vesta” is the third track on this release, and it moves away from the upbeat Afro house energy of its predecessors, to instead present a light and breezy organic house sound. Its soothing piano melodies, uplifting pads and inspirational vocals are layered over invigorating drum patterns.
“Resonance” is a majestic track which closes out the release with its floating melodies and soaring pads. It’s a light and breezy track with an angelic vibe that is truly spine-tingling, and the flamenco guitar strum that reintroduces the percussion is a magical moment.
The artwork by Helia Jamali takes us to the deepest transcendental volcanic landscape upon which the mind travels.

Gustavo Cavaco a.k.a. Guz (Spinnin Deep, Sink Or Swim, Hysteria, just to name a few label features) does a hot remix job: yesterday he got released on Musical Freedom sharing his interpretation of Deep West & Moloko’s ‘On My Mind’, a production published in November 2023. This brand new version embraces the dancefloor attitude of the original, anyway a house inspired instrumental has been added, making the whole theme fascinating and appealing.
Sequenzial Shift is the newest label project from Italy’s Alex Dolby that focuses on avant-garde techno, ranging into abstract sound design and analogue experimentation.
A veteran artist of the scene and highly prized producer, Alex is known for releasing on labels like Developer’s Modularz, Emmanuel’s ARTS, Marco Bailey’s MB Elektronics, Evod Music, Teksupport and his now defunct Affekt Recordings.
His educated sound is much loved around the world and ‘Multiple Visions’ is an album that steps into a creative palette of raw ideas, dystopian textures and dub techno aesthetics.
Beginning with the title track “Multiple Visions,” a sparse soundscape experience with a huge juddering kick as its focal point. Second up is “Dynamic Construction,” that has a straight stabbing groove with a Detroit-esque, deep vibe at its core. “Night Shift” is a complex and trippy journey into abstract and conceptual percussion. “Ordinary Days” is a cavernous apex in the album with an infectious bouncing bassline. “Corrosive Friends” uses its sounds like a bubbling melting pot of sonic exploration. Next is “Kicker,” a raw, club-fuelled cut with energy injected from an acid-influenced hook and sizzling surface noise. “Ghost” brings the collection into a melancholic state of dreamy tones that adds a warm 4/4 kick for an extra sense of absorption. Finishing up with “Blind Channel,” it’s a dark and moody voyage, like that of a cinematic, sci-fi excursion.
trueColors is a deep and melodic record label with a focus on organic sounds, and the imprint’s new release is a three-track compilation featuring music by Monolink, Zigan Aldi, Umami and Inámo who have all previously worked with trueColors.
Following the groundbreaking Foresight series, trueColors offers a deeper look into some unreleased material from prominent names on the label, works which stood the test of time with Insight Volume One.
Along with the previously unreleased ‘Instrumental Mix’ of Monolink and Zigan Aldi’s track “Fidale (I Feel)” the release also includes a new remix by Inámo of Monolink and Umami’s track “Terra Mount,” and Umam provides a new remix of “Ahget” by Zigan Aldi.
Monolink is a German producer, musician and vocalist who combines live instrumentation and heartfelt lyrics with electronic beats. Along with his many solo tracks, he is also a regular collaborator known for working with other prestigious artists such as Ben Bohmer. Alongside his previous music on trueColors, he has also featured his enchanting style on other record labels such as Embassy One, Anjunadeep, Cercle Records and Afterlife Records.
Collaborating with Monolink on the track “Terra Mount” is German duo Umami, who combine electronic music production with acoustic guitar to create mesmerising tracks. Not only have they previously featured on trueColors, but they have also signed music to labels ranging from 3000 Grad to Katermukke. Umami also provides a mystical organic house remix of Zigan Aldi’s solo track “Ahget.”
Zigan Aldi is a German artist who features a solo track, plus a collaboration with Monolink called “Fidale (I Feel) (Instrumental Mix)” that is in the compelling style of organic house he has featured on other imprints such as Do Not Sit, Underyourskin Records and The Gardens of Babylon.
Inámo is an American organic house artist whose music has been a regular feature of trueColors and Earthly Delights. He showcases the melodic side of his sound with an upbeat remix of “Terra Mount” by Umami and Monolink.
With early support from Nick Warren, Sabo, Jonas Rathsman, Dave Seaman, Robbie Akbal, and Be Svendsen, this wonderful release is a collection of previously unreleased remixes and alternative versions, which combine deep atmospherics with melodic grooves and heartwarming melodies. There are also the flowing rhythms of Afro house and tribal percussion showcasing a new take on the trueColors catalogue and some of the artists that have helped shape the imprint’s sound.

Banger alert: the master of ceremony Fedde Le Grand collaborates with Mike James to create ‘Head Up High’, an efficacious mainstage/festival production. It brings a smooth sensation on the transitions or middle pauses, when the vocal and the piano melody patiently play. However on the drops the atmosphere becomes hot: the instrumental reveals a very catchy nature, it doesn’t move alone because it’s accompanied by the piano chords, showing off an outstanding result.
