Broque’s forthcoming release is signed by Morgen Wurde and Tis, the output from their collaboration is ‘Zeitigt’, a mental and abstract release that shows a dark and calm approach to the sounds, which melts some contemporary faces of tech house and deep house. The mood aroused by the various tracks has nothing to do with the dancefloor oriented styles or happy vibes, in fact it offers an instrument and sound setup that is welcomed gently into our personal thoughts and wishes.
Sergio Bennett meets Jee Bear for the creation of ‘Propaganga’, a solid tech house production to be out soon on the great Brise Records. The release is completed with a remix made by Sascha Dive, who alters the main theme avoiding the rawness of the bassline and the drums, giving to the song a classy and sexy touch.

Berlin (DE) based dj and producer Introversion gets released again on ARTS with the EP ‘REM’, four tracks pressed on vinyl that rediscover the rave side of techno music. All the songs melt raw drums with dreamy synth melodies or vocals, that’s mostly evident on ‘Myclonus’ where a nice female vocal is interfaced with a tiny pad sound: the strength of the low frequencies is boosted by the magic spread of the higher ones. The only track that detaches from the others is ‘Lucid’, in this Introversion uses a broken beat rhythm that gives more airness and brillance to the whole sound, in fact the synth game prevails and the melodies soar through the air.
After every publication of a CD from the Watergate mix series, the Berlin based label proposes a set of EPs featuring some exclusive tracks included in the recording: here we go with the first follow up of ‘Watergate 27’ mixed by Hyenah, where in her ‘The Message EP’ she presents a great set of productions. The first one is the title track, there the notorious vocalist Bajka provides a brilliant and sexy vocal, creating a deep and warm atmosphere. Henrik Schwarz gives his interpretation, adding a minimalistic drum loop and a monotid synth pattern that creates a wider version of the main theme. On the flip ‘Soul Rise’ it’s made in collaboration with Floyd Lavine, this track recalls to the mood of ‘The Message’ because the tribal drums and the introspective mood of the synth instruments. The vinyl EP is closed with ‘Not Enought’ where Lazarusman shares his voice to this intriguing tech house production. As digital bonus we can find the acapella of ‘Not Enough’ and the track ‘Warm Drum’, which is the awesome starting track of the Watergate 27 mix.

Words Not Enough proceeds with its music activity putting out its second EP, that’s a collaborative release made by Awka and Edu Schwartz. The title given to the release is ‘Truly Enchant’ and suggests the style proposed by the artists, it reveals positive vibes into an organic side of contemporary deep house. Paul Loraine’s Rhythm Cult welcomes Pvt. Vasquez with his ‘No Quarter’, a three track release into dub techno sounds. The Mr. Loraine’s label activity is active since 2014 but he updated the catalogue patiently and slowly, without that kind of pressure put in effort by most of the labels out there. In the various releases we can find also the only vinyl EPs, the last one was published a month ago and featured the one and only Sasha Dive. Shifting the focus on the forthcoming release, the productions from Pvt. Vasquez reveal an advanced vision of dub techno, where he hazards with chords, reverbs and delays, combining them with interesting drum loops: the results show an intense sound, captivating and with a particular late night feeling. The only track that mostly detaches from this style is ‘Wake Up’, its industrial and dark contaminations express the artist intentions to do something experimental.
