Siamese Records reaches another level of greatness with this brand new EP signed by Andre Lodemann and Nathalie Claude, a collaboration born more than 10 years ago: in fact on the Nathalie’s Soundcloud we can find the draft version of a song called ‘Searching’. Returning to the present, ‘Still Searching’ is the title track that mixes the emotive instrumental by Andre and the intriguing voice of Nathalie Claude, the result is fascinating and is capable to arouse inner and atypical emotions. Crosstown Rebels is set to release one of its most interesting releases of 2021: three great producers take care of Ÿuma’s ‘Smek’, giving their unique interpretations of this mesmerizing production. The first name that appears on the tracklist is Ricardo Villalobos, in his version he goes totally trippy and mental, introducing a minimalistic and booming drum loop over the vocals. As expected, SIS enhances the tribal and ethnical influences of the original, shifting the theme into an organic four to the floor structure. The quite underground and unknown artist Hanisii debuts with the album ‘Time In The Special Practice Of Relativity’, that’s a collection of 11 songs which plunge a sophisticated and organic kind of sound, showing off an interesting alternative of techno and its derivates. The first one is the title track that goes deep with its mellow set of instruments, follows ‘When The Time Is Right’ : it brightens and warms the atmosphere with its piano melody and smooth vocals. ‘M9’ remarks the influences coming from the title track, in this prodouction we can discover a typical approach to house music from dated U.S.A. vinyl records; finally ‘LS Anthem’ introduces a mixture of all the previous songs, which sits suspended in mid-air supported by bright sensations and a calm instrumental.
