The Italian label No Way Records is going to break through April ’21 with an outstanding release made by Raroh, who opts for a dark and underground approach to techno sonorities. With the featured remixes of TVS and Beyond Humans, ‘Above The Ground’ EP highlights the label’s obscure side, that detaches from the sparkling and magic songs proposed in the first years of activity.
Artist: Steve Bug & Cle Title: Gentle Push Label: Poker Flat Recordings Cat: pfr240 Release Date: April 16th 2021 Tracklist: 01. Gentle Push 02. A Pinch Of Space
Steve Bug meets again in the studio Cle for the creation of ‘Gentle Push’, a smooth, organic and and gently sounding two tracker to be out soon on Steve’s Poker Flat Recordings. The second track titled ‘A Pinch Of Space’ is a beautiful discovery: it embraces the endless motif proposed by both the artists in these years, floating infinitely with that particular drum loop and the tiny synth combinations.
The respected and recognized Supernova duo is set to release another single track on their label Blackboard, a project started in 2018 that runs over a different direction than their other label Lapsus Music. This brand new single titled ‘Our Paradise’ is a solid tech house production, that shows a typical warehouse approach to the sounds, with a boomink kickdrum, a set of dark drums and some mesmerizing synths. The vocal on the drop enhances the atmosphere of the whole song, adding a magic vibe.
Jaw Dropping (the sublabel of Jannowitz Records) is challenging these hard times with a big investment, that’s happening with a vinyl publication signed by Andre Winter. ‘Sismique’ is the title given to this EP, that’s totally dancefloor oriented and features solid tracks. The title track is techno stomper, with a solid drum loop and a great electro bassline. The other production put in the release is ‘Brunswick’, a song focused on a old fashioned minimal style. As taught by the vinyl tradition, there are also available two remixes: the first one is made by Sinisa Mamamovic, a long time well-estamblished producer who’s also one of the co-founders of Night Light records; he takes care of ‘Sismique’ providing a slowed down approach to the main theme, concentranting the track energy more to the synths than to the bassline. Boho and Rahel Raw (The Jannowitz and Jaw Dropping’s label heads) close the release with their collaborative remix of ‘Brunswick’, providing an alternative vision of that minimal techno vibe.

Ka§par is a long time dj and producer living Portugal, who’s ready to span over the Percebes Musica catalogue with his album titled ‘Gestures Of Release’. The various tracks preserve a solid house and deep house identity, involving many typical influences from Chicago and Detroit music. Basically all the songs except ‘Time Apart’ are set to ‘four to the floor’ structures, embracing both dark and sunny sonorities. It’s not evident the artist or label’s choice to avoid the introduction of more experimentations and sonoric hazards. Apart this stylistic choice, the overall album is well produced and fits for dancefloor alike environments.
