Hideout Announces return of their Special Beach Party

From its home at London’s Studio 338, Release has quickly become one of the UK’s most fresh and forward-thinking parties. They have hosted a number of sold out events including a huge New Year’s Eve celebration and now the party rolls into the White Isle. The home for it is the newly refurbished and already legendary Es Paradis. As one of the oldest club’s on the White Isle it has a stripped back feel, a music centric party vibe and punchy sound systems as well as retractable roof for unique open air dancing experiences.

Introducing Always Sunny. Not just a party, not just a wellness group, Always Sunny combines both to create a community within the electronic music space that fosters and champions human connection and wellbeing. Through a mix of accessible music and wellness events, Always Sunny’s intention is to create a more sustainable framework and ecosystem for the scene where we feel more enlightened, nurtured, and connected to one another. But, it’s not being stuck to sober raving, or tough wellness routines – this is about balance, and music is always at the heart.

After a successful first rave and a series of online wellness events, AS can announce the next phase of activity – a party on June 4th featuring sunboi, Goh Well and Ella B, plus a 6 week wellbeing agenda including a partnership with Stretch yoga studio. Anyone ticket holders for the main party get FREE access to events including yoga classes at Stretch, and Sound Healing sessions. THE ALWAYS SUNNY AIMS : Why?
EDUCATION : Teaching and positively learning together about wellness, good routines and balance, but with music and club culture always being at the heart of the AS community.

BALANCE : Create an intersection at the middle ground for party people – we don’t need to be sober to be mindful of our health, and you don’t need to be a raging raver to party. Most of our habits sit somewhere in the middle.

ACCESS : Provide access to high quality wellness activities – starting with yoga and sound meditation, the programme will develop adding into meditation, fitness and more. All for a cheap / free price point.

COMMUNITY : Extend those smoking area chats or dancefloor exchanges to communities that extend outside the club. AS will create spaces where the community can exchange post / pre raves, and provide an aftercare service.

I have been working in the music industry for over 8 years and throughout that time have faced some big hurdles regarding my relationship with partying and my own sense of wellbeing. Sometimes I was feeling off the rails, other times I denied myself experiences just so I could stay sober and feel healthy. I struggled to sustain a middle ground, moving from one end of the scale to the other. I felt that a community needed to be created in dance music where a different narrative is held. A narrative that cultivates balance and gives space for people to re-explore their relationship with themselves and partying. The first rollout of the wellness program includes 6 free classes at Stretch Yoga, taking place each Tuesday night from the end of April until June. Stretch’s East London studios have become inclusive spaces for yoga, aiming to make people feel good via movement and providing accessible classes. Also as part of the initial offering will be sound meditation sessions, to clear minds through sounds and sensation.
