Arketip Discs is a Barcelona-based vinyl and digital imprint co-founded by Spear and Makuto that has featured music by Truncate, Stefan Vincent, Eduardo De La Calle and ORBE.

Welcoming Lōn to the label, a duo formed by Adrià Ponsa and Oscar Molina, they list appearances on Lewis Fautzi’s Faut Section and Berlin’s End of Perception.

Reeko is a hugely respected Spanish artist who heads up Mental Disorder and has released on Oscar Mulero’s PoleGroup, Ben Sims’ Symbolism and Svreca’s Semantica to name only a few.

Temudo is a standout Portuguese producer who has tailored his magic touch to labels such as Ben Klock’s Klockworks, Slam’s Soma, Developer’s Modularz, Bas Mooy’s Mord, Cleric’s Clergy as well as co-founding HAYES.

“A Dead Body Falling” lays down an intense and deep meticulous melodic venture, exposing his highly addictive modular sounds. A four-by-four workout marked by an intense flavour that repeats throughout the entire track, spiced with spatial sounds that make it an energetic tool destined for nonstop dancing.

“The Shape of My Drum” is a complex mesh of syncopated industrial rhythms and emphasised soundscapes. It’s a multi-layered exercise where percussions make a powerful passage.

Reeko delivers a mesmerising remix that immerses in the creation of a multidimensional effects narrative. Everything in this track is highly precise, where floating patterns shaken by driving saturated drums lead a hefty mental experience.

Temudo’s remix includes rude and repetitive rhythms while the mastermind also eliminates any melodic passages and emphasises a devastating architecture specially designed for the dance floor.

Allowing artists to experiment with new ideas, it has already featured UBX127 of Len Faki’s Figure as Shifted Minds, Alex Dolby of Developer’s Modularz as AX15 and William Arist of Gary Beck’s BEK Audio as Dusicyon for example.

Collage artwork images are by local artist Grassi Art.

AX15 aka Alex Dolby returns to MÉTIER, a veteran artist of the scene and highly prized producer known for releasing on Developer’s Modularz, Emmanuel’s ARTS, Marco Bailey’s MB Elektronics, Teksupport and his own Affekt Recordings.

His educated sound is much loved around the world and Horizons is an album that allows Alex to step into different territory by having electro at its core combined with classic ’90s, analogue vibes and deep soultronica.

“True Spirit” opens with harmonic drones and sci-fi ambience before climaxing with a punchy breakbeat. “Nearly Fifty” continues the theme, but with an acid hook and lo-fi style. “Moments” steps into a new realm of thundering electro making it a raw and mesmerising journey. “Model 28” has a modular heart with a classic and engaging sound. “Night Visions” is an angular exploration with shimmering highlights and a quirky groove. “Linear Dimension” takes it back to raw electro while presenting some emotional, arpeggiated chords. “Shades” has a heavy beat offset with haunting, dystopian vibes. Winding down to the title track, “Horizons” is another spacey and sparse cut with pulses and delayed drum rolls creating an atmospheric saga.

05. La Llama (Sasha Carassi Remix)
06. La Llama (Vander Remix)
07. La Llama (Original Mix)

Buy link: https://band.link/LaLlama

trueColors is a deep and melodic record label that releases organic house with enchanting melodies and its new release features an original track by imprint favourite Inámo.

Alongside Inámo’s original, the seven-track release also includes remixes by Super Flu, Vander and Sasha Carassi, plus three alternative versions produced by Inámo himself.

Deeply rooted in the nightlife of America’s New York City as a local DJ, promoter and music director, Inámo is a producer whose output has been focused towards the esteemed record labels Earthly Delights and trueColors.

The release features the original mix of “La Llama” plus three alternative remixes all produced by Inámo to express a different mood, energy and atmosphere. It also features the vocals of Spanish singer Niña Indigo who dreamed up the lyrics while meditating.

Super Flu also provide a remix in the melodic style they have championed via their own record label Monaberry, plus other highly respected imprints such as Crosstown Rebels, Stil Vor Talent and Embassy One.

Sasha Carassi first made a name for himself as a techno producer working with the likes of Drumcode, but over the last few years his sound has evolved to get deeper and more melodic. His enchanting melodic remix of La Llama showcases the style that he has recently released via the likes of Solomun’s Diynamic and John Digweed’s Bedrock.

Vander is an exciting up-and-coming talent who has been making waves on the indie dance and organic house scene with his spellbinding releases on the likes of Pipe & Pochet, A Tribe Called Kotori, Happy Camper and The Gardens of Babylon.

La Llama’s ‘Vocal Mix’ opens the release with its flowing conga rhythms, pulsating pads and sensual Spanish vocal sample. Next up is the ‘Still Burning’ version that raises the tempo and draws focus to the synths, while the percussion provides a framework that drives the track. There is also a ‘Still Burning Dub’ that swaps the vocals for more percussion.

Super Flu’s remix adds their own melody synth and they switch up the groove with their own percussive rhythms to transform the track into a quirky and funky slice of melodic house.

Sasha Carassi’s rework transforms the original into melodic house/techno with a dubby pad loop and spine-chilling synths that give the track an epic atmosphere. He also lifts the tempo and uses sections of the original’s vocal to create building tension and mesmerising suspense.

Vander’s remix stays true to the original keeping its main percussive loop and rhythmic synth stabs, but he restructures things to create an immersive indie dance groove that changes the vibe of the original.

The ‘Original Mix’ closes the release, which is a dub version of the Vocal Mix that allows the hypnotic stabs of the lead synths to become a main focal point.

Each of the versions have their own individual vibe and sits somewhere between organic house and melodic house/techno.

At Krafted Underground’s there’s happening a great celebration: Paul Sawyer lauds 30 years of dedication to electronic music, a long period of time on which he got involved in deejaying (on both party and radio stations), producing music and of course managing a large catalogue of releases through the labels he diligently led month after month. Through this anniversary release he shares a great bunch of productions made during the years, inside we can found three unreleased makings that will for sure delight the ears of nostalgic and lovers of progressive house.

“It’s amazing to think that 30 years has passed since the first year of Djing professionally. I’ve seen so many changes over those three decades, but my passion for the music has never changed. Most recently I’ve managed to land two 6 month residencies on BBC Radio 1, which was just something that I never would have thought would happen when I started all this.”

“The album contains music from my label and also from some of the labels that I have been releasing with, as well as new material and an exclusive remix for Paul Oakenfold that he kindly gave permission to be included.” Paul Sawyer
