Marco Bailey is going to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his label MB Elektronics with the publication of a track ensemble, it features some of the most important tracks that came out from the label’s catalogue.
Listening to the compilation make us conscious about the techno music excursus from 1999 to 2020, during the ages many influences affected this relevant genre like minimal, hard trance, industrial and so on. It would be too long to mention all the contaminations detected in each of the 20 tracks, but we can say that seeing again names like The Advent & Industrializer, Joey Beltram, Tom Hades, Speedy J and Steve Rachmad bring us back to some great productions listened in the past.

Steve Bug meets again Langenberg for their next release on Poker Flat Recordings, renewing the long time collaboration between them two. This small EP features two warm deep house productions: the title track elogiates the game between the synths, the main melody interfaces itself with the arpeggio pattern and the low pass filtered pad sound, while ‘Thierry Moogler’ rediscover the roots of house music with another sexy melody and a great electro bassline.

His remix is a great tech house killer that combines the sensual vocal of the original with a haunting drum loop.

After many big apparitions on nice labels such as Drumcode, Last Night On Earth, Odd Even, Dubspeeka gets released on the underground label Korpus 9 with ‘low-key profile’ songs.
The title track shows a good charm, with a muddy and dark sound where some clear synths and hihats bring a sparkle of light.
Drumcomplex and Robert S appear as remixers: notable to mention the Portoguese Robert S because he goes hard with his remix, in that unique way he interprets techno music.
Finally closing track titled ‘0.0455’ is another introspective piece with a glimpse of mainstream influences.
